Once upon a time...

43 summer seasons ago, there was an abandoned wheat field which had turned into a vacant lot. Bredene was slowly but surely turning into a coastal community where tourism was going to play a central role. A young man named Fernand saw this and decided - along with his new bride - to set out on a new adventure.

It all started with tents in an open meadow, yet the site soon improved to include paved roads, a sewage system and cable television, all in the name of increased comfort for campers.

So it has been a long story, a story we continue to enjoy writing every day. In this section, we are happy to share a bit of our history with you, along with our dreams and plans for the future.
